A two-bedroom across Millbrook, start to finish
“Three movers, four and a half hours, and the bill came in under the cap on our quote. They put the crib back together before they left, which I hadn't even asked for.”

What people ask before a local move
- How much does a local move cost?
By the hour for the crew and truck, from the time we arrive. A two-bedroom usually takes 4 to 6 hours with three movers. Your written quote gives the hourly rate and a not-to-exceed total.
- Is there a minimum?
Three hours. Most studio moves finish close to it.
- Do you charge for driving time?
One flat $89 travel fee anywhere in Linden County, instead of billing the drive to and from our warehouse by the hour.
- What if the move runs longer than the estimate?
You never pay more than the not-to-exceed total, as long as the load is what we saw at the walk-through or on your list. Add items on the day and the crew lead gives you the new total before loading them. Finish early and you pay only the hours worked.
- What if something gets damaged?
Every local move includes coverage at $1 a pound per item at no charge. Full-value protection, which repairs or replaces an item at today's price, is from $95. Tell the crew lead or call within 30 days and Karin handles the claim.
