What neighbors say after the water's back on

Erik, the owner, picked this one because it's the call we're for. Google has every review, including the ones he didn't pick.

“Pipe under the kitchen let go at 11 on a Saturday night. A real person answered on the second ring and Ray was in our basement before midnight. Same price he'd have charged on a Tuesday.”

Plumbing and heating across Linden County

Based in Harlow, so most Harlow calls have a plumber at the door within the hour. Every Linden County town gets the same number and the same rate.

Drains, water heaters, heating and repairs

What breaks at 2 am is nearly always a drain, a water heater or the furnace. The fourth is work you book for a weekday.

  • A plumber reaching under a bathroom sink to work on the trap and drain pipes

    Drain cleaning

Kitchen, bath and main sewer lines cleared with a cable or jetter, and camera-checked if it keeps coming back.

  • Gloved hands with a screwdriver working on the underside of a wall-mounted water heater

    Water heaters

Tank and tankless repair or replacement. Common tank sizes ride on the van, so no hot water rarely means a second day without.

  • A technician kneeling at an open wall-mounted heating unit, working on its pipes and wiring

    Furnace and boiler repair

Gas furnaces, boilers and radiant systems brought back when the house goes cold, plus a fall tune-up before it does.

  • A plumber fitting a toilet flush plate on a marble-tiled bathroom wall

    Repairs and remodels

Leaks, fixtures, shut-off valves and repiping, through to new bathroom and kitchen plumbing for a remodel.

One call, our own plumber, a price before we start

When water's on the floor you want three things: someone to pick up, someone who knows the trade at the door, and no surprise on the bill.

  1. One number, answered by a plumber

Day or night the phone rings in the shop or in the on-call van. You talk to the person who's coming, not an answering service that calls back.

  2. Our own plumbers, never subcontractors

Every plumber is on our payroll, licensed, and drives a stocked Kessler van. Nobody we haven't trained works in your house.

  3. Upfront pricing, before any work starts

You get the full price for the job in writing first. If we find something else once we're in, we stop and ask before it costs you more.

What it costs on a Sunday night, and other things callers ask

Do you charge more at night or on weekends?

No. Nights, weekends and holidays are billed at the same rate as a weekday. You pay for the job, not the hour you called.

Is there a call-out fee?

There's an $89 trip and diagnostic charge, the same at 2 am as at 2 pm. If you go ahead with the repair, it comes off the job price.

How do I know what it will cost?

We price the job at your door, in writing, before any work starts. If something else turns up once we're in, we stop and ask first.

Are your plumbers licensed?

Yes. Kessler is run by a master plumber, every plumber we send is licensed in Tamarack, and we're fully insured. Our license number is at the bottom of this page.

Do you do bathroom and kitchen remodels?

We do the plumbing for them: moving drains and supply lines, new fixtures and shut-offs. We work alongside your contractor or recommend one, and quote our part in writing.

No heat, a burst pipe or a backed-up drain?

Call the same number any hour. A licensed plumber answers, not a service, and a night or weekend call costs the same as a weekday one.
